A vibrant and glorious 19th Century carved and gilded mirror. The triple glass panelled mirror would make an impeccable overmantel. Surmounted by a sumptuous open carved pediment with a elaborate foliate peak to the centre draped with foliate garlands above geometric strapwork festooned by a laurel wreath, the sides are edged by baskets of flowers. There are historical repairs to the back of the pediment. (141 cm wide at the base)
