A sandstone Medieval Font. All four sides have individual symbolic motifs, with a scalloped carved stone edge. I particularly love the ‘Sejant-Rampant’ lion in the six pointed star. Worth noting, the circles carved into the sides are often associated with warding off evil and Witchcraft.
